approach
My practice is located in the Museum Quarter in Amsterdam. If it is more convenient to speak via video call or phone, that is certainly possible.
Frequency
At the beginning of a therapy process, we usually meet once a week. After a while, this changes to once every two or three weeks.
Waiting Time
My practice has a waiting time of about three to six months before I can see you weekly. However, an introductory meeting can be scheduled at short notice. Until a weekly slot becomes available, I try to schedule a session once every three to four weeks.
Intake
The intake phase typically includes two to three sessions, during which I can get an impression of your issues or request for help and gather relevant background information.
Treatment Plan
After the intake phase, we will decide together how to shape the further treatment. I will propose a treatment plan that outlines the objectives and treatment approach. We will discuss and adjust it if necessary. For me, a treatment plan is not just an administrative formality but something I handle with great care. It provides much direction for our process. We will regularly evaluate how things are going and adjust the plan if needed. There will also be an evaluation at the end of the treatment.
